I need to replace the vertually flat roof over my porch using a 30% selvage roofing system. I am not sure how to get started. My idea is to run a starter row along the bottom. Then run a starter row down each side over lapping the row on the bottom. Then proceed with normal installation. Should starter rows be nailed as well as glued? Should I install 30 lb felt first? My area is subject to hurricane winds.
