Greetings in Christ: I am performing a roof tear off soon, and I have an 11 inch stove pipe that's protruding through the roof. I want to bring my roof up to code with new flashing but the pipe doesn't seem to have any flashing on it as a pattern to follow. I was thinking of putting some step or roll galvanized flashing around it. Looking at it on the roof, it has somewhat of a round cylinder around the pipe itself, that starts small, but get's wider at the bottom the closer you get to the shingles; is this enough to suffice? And if so, how do blend the shingles in, or around the round cylinder? What is the proper way to flash it? Thanks, and God bless anyone who can help me.
