My first time posting here...

My loving wife wants to have a shade of red vinyl siding put on our house. We live in a development that has no red houses! (Most around us are in hues of yellow and white, with a couple of brick older homes)

How can I tell her that would look absolutely horrendous......she thinks it would compliment our trees and water garden that we have in the back of our house.

Any advice or knowledge would be helpful before I lose my mind! Or maybe, she could be right that it wouldn't look all that bad?????
