with tonight's heavy rain I heard some dripping and traced it to the top of the bay window (inside the house). the leak is actually coming from the drywall bump-out that protrudes approx 1 1/2" back and frames the bay window. The area around the leak is somewhat spongy to the touch.

I notice some cracking on the drywall above the leak site, this part of the house has two skylights, which are approx 8 feet further back on the roof slant (see picture). Any ideas what might be going on as well as potential fix?

thanks!

A solution depends,...A photo of the window, from outside, back a little bit to show around,...and I`ll get it from here !!
