Hey I've got an "instant hot" at my kitchen sink Its been there about 4 years

Lately it takes up to 25 seconds for the water to come out of the faucet after engaging the handle.? The temperature still seems the same . It can't be energy effecient this way . Has anyone had this occur what would be the fix. I hate to spring for a new one if there is a small adjustment I'm missing
