basement has no heating the house has honeywell forced air heating how would include the basement in the heating or else what is the best method of tackling the problem also need to know about weather stripping the doors leading to the basement

The most efficient heat source for you is to tap into the existing furnace. Run the heating duct to the floor and place the cold air return close to the ceiling on the other end of the room. Any store bought heaters are not that cost effective to use.
If this is an exterior door then most of the products on the market are effective. Just make sure to seal all 4 sides of the door. If it is an interior door, why?
