I am installing an new ceiling fan. The fan has a built in light. My room has two switches. One of the the light (controls all lights in the room) and one for the fan (it controls the speed as well). The room has white, black and blue wires and ground. The fan only has white, black and ground. If I cinnect black to black nothing happens. If I connect black to blue the fan cones on but you canlt change the speed. There are not any chain pull. There is a remote control but it does not have any effect. Any ideas?
