I live in South Florida and the attic gets blistering hot (150+). I have 2 gable fans which I don't use because they run 16 hrs/day. There is minimal insulation between the ceiling rafters (4 inches of either blown cellulose or fiberglass bat), and no insulation on the roof sheathing side. I'd like to insulate the roof side of the attic. What would be best? I also need suggestions on how to insulate the gable ends which are stucco over plywood sheathing.
