Bryan, I doubt that there is any risk to your house's structure, old houses were built stronger than current homes. However, to minimize the effect of the weight I'd spread it out over 2-3 joists. Simply secure a board (i.e., 2"x12") across the span of the joists, I'd secure it with lag bolts (3"-4" long). Happy kicking!
