I live in an 80+ yr old house with stone foundation walls....the mortar between the stones is crumbling (beach sand in the mix)....Is it best to scrape out and recement and cover with a thermoseal paint....or use a latex (to breathe)? Any suggestions would be appreciated....Thanks!
