My house is four years old and I have noticed an increase in the amount of times our sub pump turns on during wet periods. When we first moved in it hardly ever ran, now sometimes it runs every couple of minutes when its really wet. I installed a battery back up in case of power loss, but wonder if this is really what I should be doing? Who can help me professionally or what else can I do to help nip the problem in the butt. It just doesnt seem like it should be collecting this much water so quickly when it rains.
