I have a 400 sq ft bonus room in a split level house. I want to install a coffered ceiling since my bonus room is on the same level as my garage. This way I could get to my plumbing. Do you recommend a kit or what? I also am haveing a problem with water seeping in my room between the wall and the slab. My room is slightly below ground level.

I've seen a couple of coffered ceiling kits but from what I understand, they install much like suspended acoustic tile. For the application you have in mind, it sounds feasable. The cost of a coffered ceiling kit can be expensive depending on the options you choose.

As for the seepage between the wall and the slab I'd first check to see if your gutters are dumping water too close to your foundation. Extending the downspouts further from the foundation may be enough to solve your problems.
