I'm in the process of redoing my backyard (30x40) and this is a one opportunity for me to regrade the soil so water drains away from my house even though I never had any water problem seaping into my house from my backyard. The only problem is that my basement windows facing my backyard are quite low to the ground and while I can built up soil levels quite high against the side of my house where there are no windows.. the soil level is uneven (lower) where the windows are, which is probably not a good thing. Any ideas? thanks.
