Just some information about a complaint that I have in with Tarkett Inc. The laminate flooring that I had purchased has now started to delaminate at the joints. The product came with a 15 year warrenty and I have contacted Chad Baker who is the rep incharge of the warrenty for my area. After emails back and forth and a local person inspecting the product and agreeing that the product is failing. Chad Baker has now confirmed in an email by stating that CONSUMER INSTALLED products have no warrenty. How is that for false advertising. When I purchased the product from a local store I asked the question about whether the warrenty would be affected if I installed the product and I was told no. I still have the original installation papers from the package with the warrenty info and no ware does it state consumer installed products have no warrenty. This comment is just for anybody looking at buying Tarkett Inc products and installing beware that they will not go good for the warrenty.
