Bvbasement
I have been coming home the last few days and smelling a very foul smell from the basement. I went down to look at the sump pump and it has some standing water and smells really bad. I remember the home inspector telling me that I could run some water through to activate the pump to drain it out. Well, I did that twice today and the sump hasn't completly drained out and it still smells. Is there something I can pour in there to make the smell go away? Please help as this is my first home and I don't really know what to do.
