Hi!
We recently removed the old tiles in our basement. After sealing the floors with Dryloc we were planning on putting down peel and stick tiles. Then I saw something on Trading Spaces about carpet tiles.
Has anybody used carpet tiles on basement floors?
Thanks
Tracy

- carpet tiles on basement/concrete floors
sorry pookie..not my area of expertise, wish I could help but I would say whatever you decide to put on the floor..make sure you don`t have problems w/drainage under the floor..or cracks in the floor where water/dampness has been a problem..it could result in some mold growing underneath carpet/tile etc...and dryloc is probably not going to help those potential problems.GL!
DryLok is NOT designed for floor use.
You created more problems and may need to remove the DryLok from the concrete floor before proceeding.

Just be sure you are using the correct DryLok product:

I presumed you meant you were going to use DryLok wall paint on your basement floor and perhaps presumed wrongly.
