hurry..hurry sign here! They will tell you they will knock off $1,000 or more if you sign now...or that your wall is caving in and all kinds of crap. Many also try and talk you into doing much more work than needed. If you only have 1-2 cracks in your wall..then that is all you need to fix! You don`t need all the way around the house done. If there was a problem elsewhere...you would be leaking...elsewhere.I`ll dig from here to China for you too but folks,if your only leaking say..in a corner of a wall..then that is where your problem is! My estimates all good for entire year...not just for 3 or 30 days. And some of these guys want to spend the entire day with you..almost like they want to be an immediate and new friend to you.And of course some can`t seem to get to your house on time or even show up! And don`t call you to tell you they will be late or can`t make it...why would anyone consider hiring these misfits! On every estimate I`ve been on I bring my state waterproofing license,my insurance,1 sheet w/100 referrals w/phone numbers and its a free written estimate..and I don`t call you back....if you want me you will call.....always get at least several estimates on any home improvement job...and for me...I do not ask for any deposit on any job.
