We purchased a Bellawood floor from Lumber Liqudators - HUGE MISTAKE!! The quality was so poor that more than 60% of the original floor (new from box) had to be returned because the quality was so bad it could not be used. My contractor, very experienced in hardwood floors but not from L.L., said he would never install another one. Every board had to be closely examined & so much unusable material in each box. And now, about 1 year later, the boards are shrinking leaving significantly large gaps between many of the boards. The pieces for the stairs were so expensive we used regualar hard woods - it went in so easy & looks beautiful - no separation betweeen the boards. We should have done the whole floor this way!
