I am installing a fiberglass tub/shower against a concrete wall that has been furred out with 2" x 2" furring strips in a walk-out basement that is heated and air-conditioned. I need to know what type of insulation to install between the tub/shower and the concrete wall to prevent moisture and mold and the proper installation procedure.

use styrofoam inbetween the 2 by 2 studs and then a vapor barier on the warm in winter side. (in other words between the shower and the insulation.) you could use fibreglass too ,but does this wall get damp(leak) during the spring melt.
