I currently have problem with my floating deck. the cedar boards are tight fit leaving no gap. and they are very big. I think each section is 15' x 4 or 5'. is there a building code for weight of each floating deck or what is considered industry standard? is there code for spacing of cedar boards? they fit so tight that the edge of boards were frozen to ledge board, will that cause any issue down the road when wood swell?
