I am going to start furring out my basement. I live in Iowa and last year I sealed the walls with Dry-Loc. My basment is 75% exposed. I was thinking of using 2x6s instead of 2x4s, so I can use a higher value of insulation.

I am going to talk to someone at ********** or ******* about how to do this.

How would I go about doing this, I have some ideas on doing this but it never hurts to ask questions.
