I'm in the thick of things in refinishing our basement. I'm thinking of using DRIcore concrete subfloor. I've read about it on the net and I think ********** is the only place to get it. I have no idea what it costs, though. Maybe there is a way to make this type of floor myself? Is there a way to make this type of subfloor myself? DRI is a 2 x 2 panel that has polyethylene cleats so the wood never touches the floor.

I also found a leak under my raised bathroom in the basement. I believe I'm going to have to take a sledge hammer to the concrete raised floor. Any ideas on that?

You can find a dealer for Dricore here.

And Subflor has a similar product.

And here is a source of the plastic barrier material.
