duh, i cannot control how OTHERS dig their trench, got that? Knowing what type of soil one is digging in, and with what,and possibility of roots (which can/usually do support a bank) etc.

30+ years here. Then go ahead and find Capizzo Construction in se MI, they have 38 years exp w/NO problems,no complaints, and go ahead and look up RL Stremersch, 30+ years no complainst etc. 'WE' cannot in any way control what OTHERS do, what others think, how others assume how a trench should be dug....and that goes for OSHA too. Who has more experience w/NO incidents etc than those listed above? OSHA or any-other org does not possess OUR hands-on experience, period, end of freakin story. Ain`t a soul on this-planet that is going to tell me/us how to dig our trench, if they do, THEY will be SUED.
