I INSTALLED PLASTIC VENTS ON EACH RAFTER INSIDE THE ROOF.ALSO I CLOSED ALL SPACE BETWEEN PLASTIC VENTS AND THE PLYWOOD (UNDER THE ROOF).I USED FIBERGLASS INSULATION.ALSO I PUT THE SECOND LAYER OF INSULATION CROSS THE EXISTING ONE.NOW I HAVE 13"THICK BEFORE WAS ONLY 6". DURING THE WORK ON DECEMBER AFTER THE SNOW WHEN TEMP. DROPED 10-15 DEGREE ALL THE NAILS UNDER THE ROOF AND THE PLYWOOD WERE FROSTY AND ICY. AFTER A WEEK WHEN TEMP. WENT UP EVERYTHING WAS GONE.NO ICE NO FROSTY.TWO DAYS AGO WAS THE SAME THING EVEN THE INSULATION WAS FROSTY.

QUESTION:IS THIS NORMAL IN WINTER TIME?WHERE THIS FROST AND ICE GOING AFTER THE TEMP GOING UP?

DO I HAVE ENOUGH VENTILATION?I HAVE 4 RIDGE VENTS ONE ATTIC FAN FOR 1500SQF AND 4 SOFFITS ON EACH LENGTH SIDE OF THE HOUSE AND 2 SOFFITS ON EACH WIDTH OH THE HOUSE.THE HOUCE IS 1450SQF.
