the house was built around 1960 we bought it 4 years ago and the basement leaks worse every rain we can't aford to move and we don't want to waist money doing somthing that isn't going to work we had est done and they want to drill holes around the walls and jack hammer around the floor and put in a plastic pipe, we have a sump pump inside and one out side and there are two drains in the floor that are plugged as the water use to come up even sewerage came up in a bad rain but our real problem is that the support posts are where most of the water is coming in the bottom of the posts are rotten I guess from always being wet as it rained three days ago and I am still cleaning up water comeing up around the three suport posts in the middle of the basement there is a cement floor but it seems the posts go down to the ground not sit on the cement can any one help us please.
