We're building a new home that is heavily wooded and backed up to the marsh. The lot is about 100' x 250'. To say we have bugs outdoors would be an understatement. It was recommended that we get soemething called "thermacell"??? So far I haven't been able to find anything of the sort on the web. Any suggestions?

Is it possible this is what you are looking for? This is all the rage, but critics say it actually attracts more mosquitos than you would have otherwise had. They are all over the place, in home improvement stores, and on the web under keywords propane and mosquito for much cheaper prices.

Otherwise, look into putting up some bat houses. You would be amazed at how big of a difference they make. We live next to a swamp surrounded by tall grass, and I love the bats. I never see them, but they do a wonderful job.

Thanks for the input. I'll check it out. The bat idea sounds very interesting considering we too will be backed up to the marsh in a heavily wooded area.
