My basement teleposts were adjusted incorrectly. Can anyone tell me how I go about trying to re-level the beams now.

I have no idea of how to start to find out whether or not it is level and don't want to be moving the posts without knowing what I am doing.

It was very dry here last year and the hosue has shifted a lot it seems. I just need a way to find out if floor beams are level.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I haven't seen this many cracks or settling since house was built 16 years ago.
