I bought a house 4 years ago and its a fixer uper. Now there was a weeping hole with a sump pump in it but there is no weeping tiles around the house going into the hole. Now my dilema is the ground is so saturated that it comes up through the cracks in the cement floor. My question is should I put weeping tiles around the house and break the floor and run the weeping tiles under the existing floor,or run the weeping tiles ontop of the existing floor. Is there any advantages/disadvantages of pouring a new floor other than it is easier?
