I am reinsulating a couple of rooms and want to make sure I am using the right vapor barrier. I will be installing fiberglass insulation (R15) without a vapor barrier and have been told to use with either 6 mil plastic or house wrap...which one is correct?

House wrap is not a vapor barrier. In fact, it is made to allow vapor to pass through from the insulation to the outside. It does repel water but not water vapor. Go with the plastic, you do not want vapor passing from the interior to the insulation.
