... the only times I have "rented" it out I received no money, which I don't need, rather I did it, and will do it again, when the local shelter for battered women is full, as it often is around here, and the sheriff calls to ask for "a favor."
By the way, if you think you're tough, you should experience watching a woman and her children getting out of a sheriff's car or one belonging to DFACS, knowing she's hit absolute rock bottom. I have never understood how a man can beat a women but, brother, I've sure seen the results.
Your local shelter could probably use your help.
Poor, I'm not, not by a long shot. "Retired" I am, sort of, having reached that point in my professional career where I work for the love of it, not because I need more money. Working on the house seems like a good hobby.
Back on point; I called the CEO of a foam company yesterday. Nice guy. Very helpful, very friendly. He told me exactly how to do it and even sent instructions and pictures of similiar projects as illustrations. Pretty neat how it's done. And simple.
Oh, being in the entertainment industry and knowing how some things are done, I wouldn't count on Vila not noticing the forum. My educated guess is that he, or his people, look in from time to time, to get ideas and/or a feel for what the (viewing) public is (currently) interested in.
Anyway, luck is for rabbits, but thanks anyway.
