I have a house built ~1910 which is very cold in the winter. I have decent windows with storms but very little attic insulation and no insulation in the walls. I am trying to determine where I can get the most for my money in upgrading my energy efficiency. Should I spend money on windows, wall insulation, or attic insulation? I thought of an energy audit (blower and IR photos), but that seems expensive and I suspect there is plenty of know how from people with older homes that have had the same problem. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks for your help.
