House was remodeled and carport was turned into den. Problem= wood subfloor installed maybe an inch or so above concrete slab without any insulation (just enough to keep floor level/off ground). Since access to slab itself not feasible, what are viable ways floor can be insulated between wood subfloor and carpeting itself (other than carpet pad). Is there anything I can use a viable vapor barrier to keep the feet warm.
