I did a search for this but didn't come up with an answer: is there a guideline to sizing a dry well for downspouts? I read you want to size it for 2-3" every 24 hours, so multiplying that but the square footage of roof being drained gives you a cubic footage...but how do you take the fill material into account? Any help would be appreciated.

that should be "multiplying that the square footage"
