You did not give any information about the brand, model, age, etc so there is no way that I can tell you how to program it.

Note, that there are often several different types of remotes and keypads over the years so you will need to identify which you have.

I have recently moved into a new residence,

the former owner did not leave any info about the opener or the keypad. I would like to reprogram the keypad. It is a Craftsman opener. The keypad model is 139.53776 and another model number lower

down is 139.18776. I think the opener was

made in 1994.
