I have a copy of Bob Vila's Home Design and am having trouble with the fact that some of the features that my husband and I want to put in our home are not available in the program.

Example: We want to add a transom window and lights around the front door and there is nothing in the program that I have found that will let us do that.

Please help me.

It doesn't have fireplaces or woodburning stoves either - I think they forgot that some will be using the program to renovate - I put the furnace in to indicate the woodburning stove. Also I hate the stair feature - to put in a landing you have to do the math and put a floor there. Real tough because I have 2 landings between the 1st and 2nd floor. Another thing I wish we could do is to build the levels side by side and then move it merge it at a later time.
