Hey I hate to ask again, but I need help calculating how much sand fill I will need.

My land slope is about 8 1/2 " from one edge of my 18 ft. pool to the other. I have built a retaining box for the low end, with 2x 12's

How much sand will I need to purchase to fill in my 19 x 8' box and level the rest back to 0" at the other end? Also how do I convert the measurement to tons, the way my local quarry sells the sand? We can't wait to fix this miss and swim :)

I was never good at figuring things out like this. I almost always opt to hire a contractor to do the work for me. Our pool is pretty old and needs some updating done to it. You can be sure I'll be searching for a professional to come renovate it for me.
