Bvwindows
Hi:

I'm interested in purchasing a "window sash replacement kit" made by Semco. I figure the kit can not be better than a standard double hung window made by them.

Has anyone purchased a dbl-hung window from Semco lately, and are you satisfied with it? Does it have condensation, is it drafty, etc etc.

Any info would be appreciated as I need to replace ten windows. I went to a local dealer and was given a ruff estimate of about 150 per window. This compares to about 225 for a Marvin "sash kit".

I'd get the window with dbl glazing, LowE, vinyl or aluminum clad exterior.

Thank you.

Joe

Joe: I have double hungs in my office, and one of my closest friends has a complete home of double hung windows which is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan which are subjected to some extremely harsh elements. He is also a builder and has used the product on several of his other projects.
