I have a question about whether or not to put on shutters on the outside front of my second story "window set" 1890 brick house. The issue is that the "window set" is comprised of 3 windows (all of equal size) placed side by side flush to each other, forming almost a bay type of look--except the house (and windows) is a flat front brick face. There are no other shutters on the house and the only other "window" on the front of the house is a 7 foot tall first floor divided lite french door(which is centered below the 3-window set on the second floor). The issue is whether I should put shutters on the second floor 3 window set, and if yes, what size shutters should be used? The total external width of the 3 window set is about 13 feet and its height is about 6 feet. From the edge of the two outer window frames of the 3 window set to either side of the house is about 40 inches of brick. Grateful for your adivce.

If you send me an Email, I can send a picture of the house front which will help a lot.

Greetings,

Only you can decide.

If I were you, I would draw a picture of your house and try both options before I bought anything.

Good luck,
Jason
