Patio and deck ideas for house with slab foundation

I just recently purchased a house with a slab foundation that does not have a patio. I have plenty of back yard but need some patio ideas. Can you post some pictures or tell me where I can go to see some ideas?

Hi,

We have a great tutorial on how to build a brick patio here - http://www.bobvila.com/articles/44366-how-to-build-a-brick-patio/pages/1 They're relatively easy to do (I built my first one at 16!) once you get the hang of it, albeit laborious.
