We purchased a house built in 2004 with Trex decking flaking and deteriorating. After hearing about the class action suit settlement a claim was filed off of the Internet soon after moving in. With pictures attached and the claim form answered fully we received a call two days after submitting to schedule an appointment for an inspection. Within a week after inspection, Trex e-mailed us an offer detailing the amount of 16 and 20 foot boards in a certain color with some expense money included for installation. All we had to do was sign the form to complete the claim form. As we are changing the color of the house, we will try to see if they will send us a different color if the cost is not more for them. If the color we want to change to is not approved, will be happy with their offer. Otherwise, we will consider paying more to customize if possible. Therefore, the claim seems very fair and reasonable.

Not a Problem
