we stain our cabinets dark stain.don't like it now,want to paint them again.we have tan walls&we have white apps&countertop have tan/black/beige in it.i was going to paint cabinets like country white more closer like in between tan&off husband said it look like hostipal to white won't look good with tan walls&white apps.Then I saw a light green on here.plz I need some advise.or do I stain the wood a lightier stain?Plz let me know here are pics of my cabinets and wall/countertopi will have to post pics later can email me at [email protected] tyKay

If you already stained the cabinets dark, you won't be able to do a light stain unless you try using a gel stain.
If you decide to paint, you could apply primer. This will give you a feel for the appearance if painted and then you can choose a color.
