My garage door starts going down, then stops and starts opening again. If I press the button again, it'll start down and will go down a bit further, then again stopping and rising. I can eventually get it shut, after much going up and down. The light blinks when this happens. What's going on?

I imagine sometime I should oil the thing to keep it running smoothly on the tracks. Any place special I should oil?
