Seems silly to me to open the entire garage door in the middle of winter to take out a bag of trash. I know they used to make these, but I can't find one either. ANyone track one down yet????

Haven't seen one, but am sure that it would be complicated and expensive. You would spend more than what you saved in heating/cooling with the small door.

I't not even just the hear/cooling, but the rain & snow blowing in & a PITA if the power is out.

Some years ago I was a sales rep & called on car dealers, garages, auto body shops, etc. Some of the small shops - I remember one even in a converted row house - had them. Didn't think this would be such a weird item to find, so maybe those guys just customized them themselves.

We were able to find a price on a combination garage door with entry door. It was through oue local Overhead Door Company, but you need to talk to the comercial folks, not the residential ones. We did not go that route because a standard size door was about $3,000.

thanks Wolftax that sort of ends it there. I don't want to pay $3000.00 for this. I was tired of the family going in the front door. The back door is inaccessible from the driveway.
