Hi, I'm buying a home with Hydronic Radiant Heating. I want to create 2 bedrooms with en-suites to two large open spaces upstairs (the bathrooms backing existing baths in other rooms); and a small 1 bedroom apt in the basement also with hydronic radiant heat.
Is it do-able?

If you are not adding Square footage to the house and the boiler works well now you should be able to reroute the piping and add a zone valve with its own thermostat. You should have a Qualified hvac contractor look at it first.

Thanks,

Thanks for replying.
So... that would mean in the basement, we'd have to tear up the cement? ugg... I guess we'd have to anyway to add plumbing for bath and kitchen.
Upstairs wouldn't be so difficult.
The home is 10000 sq ft and has too much 'open space', perfect to add more rooms.
We def will use a contractor!
Thanks!
