Hi All - So, a part of my backyard used to be an indoor space. Prior to me purchasing the home, someone turned it into part of the backyard. That means that the ground is completely level, which leads to the water pooling up when it rains. On the inside of the guest house you can see areas where paint has bubbled up inside because water has seeped in from sitting there. I want to put a nice shade structure over the top of the space and have a nice entertaining area, but first thing is to figure out the drainage. Please take a look at the picture to give any ideas as to how to create proper drainage. Thank you for any ideas!

Dave you can bring a drain line 3" or larger into your home and place a running trap inside the home under an access cover and connect it to a combination system if that is the type that is existing.

Or install a drain line no less then 3" leading to a dry well if local codes allow
