Stay AWAY from MW. Mine are all wood and have all been replaced once and the new ones are leaking.

I have Certainteed in another home (rental and am very happy with them. I've also had success with Anderson

I believe our windows are the Wood/vinyl clad windows. I had the rep from Pullum windows, a sales rep and our builder out here today discussing the windows. I've asked for literature on the specific windows we have. We will see it they actually produce it to me? The manager of Pullum seems sincere and wants to make sure we get these problems solved, so he is going to ask a rep from M & W windows to come out and look at the gaps in several of the windows that concern me. Four of the windows will be replaced due to damage that cannot be repaired otherwise. I'm only worried that these windows will not hold up over time and will need replacement within a short period of time. I hate salemen and the sales rep wasn't as convincing as to making sure it wasn't a manufacturing defect. His take is all windows have this gap even the large reputable companies like Pella. I will keep all posted of my on going situation and give any updates that I deem important. Wondering if all of these concerns on the web are the vinyl not wood product? Please reply!

As I already posted my windows are all wood and I have replaced all the ones that were not protected by a porch roof (4). The other 36 were replaced because of water damage. Many of the new replacements are now showing signs of water leaks. UGH Several of my place glass windows were not replaced because they tried to tell me that the damage was from condensation! I have no condensation on my windows. Another excuse used was poor installation. It seems to be a losing battle. At one point in this conversation we were told that the parent co. was going bankrupt - I wonder if that ever happened?

I'm glad I found this forum. Last week I noticed that the vinyl clad portion of several of our MW windows are cracking/bubbling. I'm going to contact MW and try to use the warranty route but after reading the posts listed on this forum I would definitely participate in a class action lawsuit if it were available.

I found this site the same way, googled leaking window/partiot/ryan homes.

I have experienced multiple leaks in my new Ryan home. MW Partiot prvoded a field inspection that confirms Ryan Homes cut corners installing the windows, that the install falls well short of meeting the NAHB specifications. The inpsector informed me that in consideration of the issues discovered, the window warranty would likely become voided. The decision was left to MWPartiot service management.

After a week of silence, I called back and spoke to Mr. Cale David, MWPatriot Warranty Service Mgr. who informed me everything was fine and reminded me Ryan Homes buys a great number of windows. Translation, they only care about the sale!

Can anyone tell me the make/model of your windows? Our's I've been told are the 800 series, which on the MW site is referred to as the Freedom Series. We are still waiting for some replacements and the MW rep to inspect our windows. So I would be very interested to hear from anyone who is on this site to tell us which window you have. thank you in advance!

Per your request, my leaking windows are all Twin-Seal all vinyl MW windows; with Low E coatings. Some of the leaking windows are with grill between the glass (G.B.G.) and some are without. I believe you have a wood/vinyl clad window situation? My windows still leak as of last rain storm.
