Husband is in power chair full time and I have problems too. Builder and Landlord to be, offered to build home in development area that would fit his needs. We moved in 6/2013.
Within two weeks of moving in noticed what smelled like a musty odor, became very strong and would give me headaches and breathing problems.
Repeatedly notified landlord of problem. They did have some people look at it and take the U pipe apart. Never did get it resolved. Could no longer use the sink and after several weeks the odor was no longer a problem with sink stopper closed. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Make sure that all the drains/traps have water in them. You can run the faucets/fixtures to assure this. This may or may not take care of the problem.
