My dad submitted plans to our citys building and safety dept. for a permit to extend our house. one of the corrections on the plan was for a 35"x47" bedroom window 44" from the finished floor. (Only information shown on the plan) "PROVIDE CODE REQ'S FOR ESC. WINDOW" was written beside it.My question is, how do we fix this, what exactly does the architect expect to see on the plans. CBC code?, type of framing?, header height? mfg rating of the window?
