I have a question about my sewer when I wash my laundry. I have had my home for 10 years but within the last 5-6 years every time I wash a load of laundry and the rinse cycle finishes the water that has been draining into my sink floods through the sewer floor. I have had my pipes cleaned numerous times and still no solution.
Let me just say that 10 years ago when we purchased our home the sink was the old heavy clay/ceramic kind and we changed it to a plastic double tub 5-6 years ago and this started happening.
Please help me with a solution.

Plastic in most cases installed underground is a flood looking for a place to happen

When installing piping underground back filling is very important and making sure the piping rests on a sold clean base that is rock free.

Plastic has a terrible bearing load factor BUT hey it is cheap to buy and install and replace
