Is it possible to paint outdated laminate kitchen cabinets from the mid 1990's. They have the off white finish with the bottom of the doors and drawers finished with a curved walnut wood strip across the bottom of the doors for use to open the doors, same for the drawers only across the top. They are in great shape, and were a better cabinet put in by the builder, but now needs to be updated. Is this a possible task?

Hi there
The first thing to do is clean them good with a non oily cleaner.
Scuff the surface with sandpaper. I have found that 80 or 100 grit works best.
Apply a good primer. roll all the flat surfaces using a paint roller with a high quality latex paint.
The new micro fiber roller covers work great.
The doors could also be sprayed.
Hope this helps
